Illinois law forbids the taping of anyone without their knowledge and consent. Springer's lawyer, Michael Plonsker, refused to talk about the incident, saying: "Mr Springer does not comment on his personal life." The disclosures are particularly embarrassing to Springer, whose show has recently been criticised for its sexual content and occasional fights between guests."

Thanks for the information. Someday it will be "known". One of the ancillary questions which remains is what were the intentions of those in the Senate who voted against Impeachment?
