The first mistake is treating this leftists as "Christians" . They are not. The NCC promotes a panoply of left-wing causes from opposing standing up to Saddam, to socialized health care, to opposing welfare reform, to environmental causes like this one.

It has nothing to do with Christian ethics or Christian faith, but their activism reflects politically correct ethics and the faith of Liberalism/Leftism.
