After McVeigh was arrested, John Doe #2 would have become a hero to the cause of the militias. And the militias would have taken him in and hid him, which would have made him part of the infrastructure of the militias. Which is what their goal was for this whole thing, was to bust the militias.
The only problem with (C)'s scenario is that John Doe #2 was a member of the terrorist network that attacked us on September 11, in my opinion.
Amen. The way I understand it, McVeigh only attended ONE militia meeting in his whole life, and was thrown out after the first 15 minutes and told never to return. Nichols had attended meetings, but he was told not to come back for having brought McVeigh. The press knew this of course, but for some reason didn't find it important.
