I agree with that, but the Philipines are a hotbed of Islamic terrorist activity (as hard as it is to believe).

IMHO, visas from ANY country where there is known to be terrorist activity deserve greater scrutiny - including the homelands of MY ancestors, in Germany and Ireland. (LOTS of dangerous kooks from BOTH of those places: Bader Meinhof, IRA, etc.)

Please forgive my presumption of malicious intent. These kinds of (potentially emotional) threads sometimes bring out the WORST in people, including me. :(
