Maybe they're so willing to talk because word got around that one of the last bigwig al Qaeda clowns we captured got a 9MM vasectomy on the process.

I understand he's singing in a higher octave now.

Any opinions on this subject or are we being fed BS?

A few years back the FBI did a study that concluded that there's more than one kind of terrorist. There are

  1. The totally committed, rabidly fanatic "footsoldiers." These folks make great suicide bombers. Some form of deprogramming may loosen their tongues (Don't know if it's been tried. Might be a violation of their rights).
  2. Opportunists, who pretend to believe because it gets them in a position to hurt people and steal stuff for their own benefit. These are somewhat cunning thugs. Theye're dangerous, but don't want to die for the cause.
  3. Leaders. These people use "the cause" in the most cynical way to manipulate others, purely for their own sense of power and aggrandizement. They might get caught up in their own myth, but generally will do anything to avoid dieing for the cause.

Opportunists and leaders might be willing to cut a deal to improve their position. Leaders are the most egomaniacal of psychopaths, who might also shoot their mouths off just to puff themselves up.

Seeing a news report saying they talked might also encourage some of these people to talk, when they realize that if they're ever freed, their own "friends" will kill them just in case the story is true.

Does that help any?

The theory I stated in #15 for why so many of these islamic terrorist rats talk freely in captivity.

They don't act like a POW in the sense we understand it, because they believe they are merely insignificant tools of allah, and their death or capture means nothing.

Only the will of allah is important, and their side will win in the end because allah wills it.

So why not talk? It does not change the will of allah, and the will of allah is all that matters.

That's probably true. It wouldn't bother me if somebody went to work on this guy with a pair of pliers and a blowtorch.

And remember the story last weekend of the SAS running around no mans land in Yemen on the "hunt" for binny baby...Did our little recent catch give up the info?

Of course last month in "Debka" it was "reported" that binny was in Yemen riding herd over the goats there...

Things are getting interesting indeedy...

Is anyone else as confused as me regarding all the terrorists supposedly giving up the goods on each other? This is supposedly a group of fanatical people with a very specific goal in mind. Why in the world would they roll-over on each other as soon as they are captured?

They're fanatical about sending expendible minions to die for Allah. They ain't so hot on being on the hot seat themselves.

I think the legalities have been pretty well cleared up in more conventional deprogramming cases (e.g. your kid got brainwashed into selling flowers for the Moonies, so you hire somebody to grab and un-brainwash him). It's even less of an issue for noncitizens.
