BTW, even though I think that Woolsey is largely correct here, I know that we are at WAR and believe that we should begin acting like it (i.e. trying to hurt/destroy our enemies, foreign and domestic). I personally think that we will eliminate lots of terrorism by destoying the present governments of Iran, Iraq, Syria, Libya and Sudan. Saudi Arabia can also be included on that list if they make too much noise. Then we sit there for 50 years and make sure that they develop into democracies of some kind, and leave. North Korea can wait for a while, but they eventually will need the same treatment.

And we should leave the worst for last - after all of that's been done, invade France :>)

We have to understand that the vast majority of American Muslims are certainly not terrorists and are not sympathetic to them.

I believe the vast majority of American Muslims are sympathetic to their terrorist brethren. If they were as reviled by terrorism as the rest of us, they would be rooting out their own violent brethren and going all out to assist civil authorities in putting them behind bars.

We have forgotten what was is, and the Arabs will be only too happy to re-educate us.

people like the islamofascists seem to like to forget one simple fact: when pushed, Americans are VERY apt pupils.

You are wrong and WOOLSEY is right - Saddam tried to kill Pres Bush in 1993. The FBI looked into this independently of the Kuwaitis and made those conclusions. there was a lot of evidence tying the wouldbe trigger-man to the Iraqi intelligence services. Coming over from the iraqi border just one of the many clues!!

A man after my own heart.

Here's one for the ninnies you run across:

Of course, the great majority of Muslims are peaceful -- so what?

This just appeared today on a mailing list I receive. I won't re-post, but will say "BTTT" -- I don't agree 100%, but 99% is good enough; worth reading!
