This is a pretty amusing example of black racism. A white woman is the ultimate status symbol for black men, and black women hate it. You don't usually hear any black women complaining when a poor black guy hooks up with a big, fat, ugly, bleached-blonde trailer trash white woman, but when a rich black guy gets himself a white honey, look out.

Beautiful women draw eager attention, plain ones draw but little. And the real kicker is that "beauty" pretty much boils down to "outstandingly average." Not too long a nose, not too heavy or too light . . .

So the standard of beauty for American society as a whole is, traditionally, a European appearance. Why a black woman would like that, I can't imagine. So when a high-profile black man validates that standard . . .
