Why do you think Ann Coulter wrote an article last year entitled "Attack France"? Before long, we'll be looking at news reports of the Grand Mufti of Paris issuing a fatwa calling for the torching of Notre Dame. What a joke the Europeans have become!

I agree. Somewhere, there are people who would go along with us. Somewhere, there are the people who cried with us on 9-11, and brought candles and flowers. Not to change the subject too much; but I read something interesting about some French people and the Euro. It was source that had nothing to do with politics! A coin collecting page!
There was an article about how quite a few French people were really distrustful of the Euro. There was the case of a French lady who was taking a load of Francs down to exchange them for, guess what? Gold!! She was worried about the Euro, and didn't trust it. She went down to exchange her Francs, and one of the clerks(I think it was a bank,)told her he had to get some information from her to fill out a form.
Well this gal apparently smelled a rat, so she said something to him, (I think she was somewhat aquainted with him)threatened to spill something scandalous about him, I don't know. Well he put the form away in a hurry, and gave her her gold with no more argument! This was an unusual source to find this little tidbit! This lady wasn't alone in her fears; there was a lot of them trading their Francs for gold and silver, because they can't trust the Euro!

You make many good points. And such a good article from this student.
"Rhodesian?" Should the US reconquer Europe? Save it from itself?

Should the US reconquer Europe? Save it from itself? Not a bad idea. No, I was thinking of the fierce independent streak that the Rhodesians had. Living in the land made them independent and strong. Kinda like Texans, at least West Texans, or folks from any rural area.
It's the difference between city dwellers and country folk. How one survives when there is no supercenter to run to. Old Rhodesia had many of these qualities.

Good article, there are so many muslims in Europe now, they have all but taken over, not yet in numbers but certainly with their fanaticism, the Euro's have better wake up.

Darn that sounds good. What would forty acres cost around there?

About $700 an acre on average, much better than the prices down here in FL. My property taxes are under $40 a year for the place - the house is small- and like most places there, has sweet crystal clear springs, excellent quail, deer, turkey and squirrel hunting, good smallmouth bass fishing locally and nearby there are lakes for stripers, pumpkinseeds, warmouth, gar, crappie, largemouths and catfish (and ducks), and the area has the best beef in the country, friendly neighbors, and is centrally located if you like to travel. I don't think taxes would be much more even if the house was a large one. If you can work from your home, southern MO is a fine place to do it, though the summers can be hot, the hills do tend to shorten the heat of the day a bit, and hot days are what swimming holes are for.
