GAZA, Nov 21 (Reuters) - The military wing of the militant Islamic movement Hamas said it was behind a suicide bombing on a Jerusalem bus that killed 11 people on Thursday and vowed to carry out more attacks on Israelis. "We confirm the path of Jihad (holy struggle) and martyrdom is continuing in every part of our occupied land as long as there is occupation and there are crimes," Hamas's Izz-el-Deen al-Qassam Brigades armed wing said in a statement. "What is coming is bigger and God willing greater." Yasser Arafat's Palestinian Authority condemned the bombing as "terrorism" and said such attacks had nothing to do with "resistance to occupation", but that Israel was responsible for continued violence with its army crackdown on Palestinian areas. Hamas declined to name the bomber, but Hizbollah's al-Manar television in Lebanon said the bomber was Na'il Azmi Abu al-Hal. The 23-year-old Palestinian disappeared on Wednesday from his Bethlehem-area home, his parents said. His family and the Israeli police force said he was behind the blast. Izz-el-Deen al-Qassam said the bombing was among a series of responses to Israel's killing of its leader Salah Shehada in July in an air attack on his house in a Gaza City neighbourhood which also killed a senior Hamas commander and 14 civilians. Hamas, which is dedicated to Israel's destruction, has carried out numerous suicide bombings against Israelis since interim peace accords were signed in 1993. The attacks escalated after a Palestinian uprising against Israeli occupation began in September 2000.
I absolutely agree. For starters the Israeli's should turn the entire block where the bomber lived into a smoldering parking lot. Then completely destroy every place Hamas has ever been associated with. No warnings, no apologies, doesn't matter who is there. Make the Palestinian people wish they had never heard of Hamas.
