Not snowed in....yet.....but the snowing continues, lol. I am guessing we have about 4 to 5 inches on the ground, up from about 3 yesterday a.m. It's been snowing most of the night and all day today, so far. I've been told to "look forward to" lots of snow this winter. I just moved here from Colorado, so this will be my first year in this much snow. I used to live on the Western Slope and didn't have much snow to deal with at all. Yuk.

Here's an old Peggy Noonan (and Rush) commentary on the Algore 2000 debacle. Some of it is still relevant to our task today. The thread is locked from posting, but I thought you might find it interesting to read.
The Greenwood Position Now we must fight for our country.
* * *
And we must fight, too.
We must first of all know this will not be over soon. We must be in it for the long haul and must fight in any peaceful and legal way open to us. Every writer, scribbler, Internet Paul Revere, talker, pundit, thinker, essayist, voice: Come forward and speak the truth. Howl it.
We must point out what needs be pointed out again and again and not ducked or hidden: The Clinton-Gore operatives are trying to steal the election--and it is wrong. The Democrats in their hunger for power will throw the men and women who protect us with their lives over the side--and it is wrong.

"wish you were closer"....my feelings also. The internet has extended our community. It will never be the same again. Too bad we can't just beam up for a get together. You all could move to Virginia, where we have at least some degree of success in keeping the rats in their holes. lol

Sounds like you better stock the shelves for the winter. We may get some big ones this year. I think we are in a more normal pattern of rain fall and that's all you need when it is cold. It has been relatively dry the last few years.

Just checked my history folder setting and they were for 20 days. It is no wonder the links expired. I just set it for three months....the maximum I can get. My setting are in "Tools" and then "Internet Settings". Let me know if you can't maximize your settings. For anyone who doesn't know what we are talking about...the links you have been to will expire at some point and it will appear on the screen like you have never visited them.
