Let’s just be clear about one thing. The latest al Quaeda threat, in the form of yet another missive that mysteriously appeared on al Jazeera’s doorstep, declares their intention to convert America to Islam. The letter contains the usual warnings that terrorist acts will continue unless America pulls out of the Middle East and stops supporting Israel, Russia, India and the Philippines in their fight against Islamic terrorism. But most ominously, the letter ends with a demand that America either convert to Islam or face more destruction.
While this may sound farfetched, it’s important to be aware of our enemies objectives. They want to conquer the parts of the world that are populated by ''infidels'' and convert them to Islam. If this doesn’t fit the definition of Fascism, I don’t know what does. The writer Christopher Hitchens was dead on when he described this ideology as ''fascism with an Islamic face,'' and radio host Michael Savage hit the nail on the head when he came up with the term ''Islamofascism.'' That’s because it most accurately describes the foe that Western Civilization is now up against.
Many of us have already come to the realization that the war we are fighting is both a clash of civilizations and a religious conflict. The left, however, is uncomfortable with such primeval concepts, so they pretend that this is purely a political struggle. They confer the status of freedom fighters on terrorists and oppressed nations on dictatorships. They think that if we just alter our foreign policy, everything will be alright.
Perhaps the reality of what we face is so frightening that they find comfort in their illusions. After all, if big, bad, omnipotent America turns out to be vulnerable, who will they blame for all their ills? Furthermore, acknowledging the reality at hand would call into question a belief system that relies on America and Israel being the villains. But the nihilistic and utterly destructive evil we are truly dealing with, is too much for leftists to comprehend, so they run back to the familiarity of their myths.
We will have to battle our enemies, while simultaneously holding the delusional left at bay. If not, they will take all of us down with their suicidal appeasement of terrorism.
After the horrors of 9/11, the rest of us know exactly what we’re up against and that it’s imperative to fight this fight. Just as all other forms of fascism must be resisted and destroyed, so must Islamofascism. It’s important that we take al Quaeda’s stated goal of imposing Islam on America seriously, for nothing less than the survival of our civilization is at stake.
It's not the least bit far-fetched. Every Islamic country was converted by force. Every Islamic country remains Islamic by force.
The thought of America converting to Islam is far-fetched but, their threat is late in coming. Historically, it's their usual m.o., their ONLY hope.
It's not just our civilization that's at stake. It's civilization itself.
Very true. When a "culture" can only be achieved through force, it doesn't have much to offer, does it?

To Muslims, all the lands of the nation-states are by definition, dar-al-harb—the abode of war. What war is this? Do you want to understand Muslim culture? Then you must understand Jihad culture. Jihad culture is Arab warrior culture, and Islam is its murder cult. Ultimately, the Jihad mandate is the satanic counterpart to the great commission.
Islam does not mean “peace”. It does not even mean “submission” as we are often told. Islam is actually an Arab desert-warrior term that means “surrender”.
The ultimate goal of the Khilafah is the surrender of the entire world to the throne of Islam.
Under this throne, there are no nations. This is one thing that makes imperial Islam unique in history—it is the determined destruction (not subjugation) of all conquered nations.
