A week after 9/11- when it was safe to be funny again. John Stuart of "The Daily Show" on Comedy Central had a line that went like this: "After what happened last week (meaning 9/11 and the thousands of deaths) I think I and comedians everywhere owe an apology to "Christian Fundamentalists" everywhere. It was met with a resounding applause from the audience.

Hmmm ... never heard about that. Interesting and a bit encouraging. Wish I could have seen that one.
