Osama bin Laden uses the Islamic faith to justify his nationalist, anti-Western political agenda.
It is an old religious ploy, one that Muslims were on the receiving end of during the Crusades.
Pope Urban II used love of Jesus and hatred of Muslims to motivate his troops at the beginning of the Crusades. Urban actually called Muslims "infidels."
Political leaders often wear religious disguises and exploit hatred in pursuit of their goals.
This brings me to the leaders of the religious right in this country.

God is ALWAYS on the side of righteousness.

Thank God for the Crusades (never thought I would say that
from the article
And so we have Pat Robertson saying, "Adolf Hitler was bad, but what the Muslims want to do to the Jews is worse."
Jerry Falwell calls Muhammad a "terrorist." Franklin Graham criticizes Muslim clerics for not apologizing for the 9-11 attacks, as if a billion Muslims are to blame for the actions of fanatics.
I believe this is all a part of the political desire of the Republicans to seperate themselves from us after they got our vote. The press is a part of the method..vilify the Christians..
The leaders of this country want to look more like Europe a nation with no soul..See the other threads on this topic..it is too much of a coincident for it not to be intentional

>Yes, Muslims need to reclaim their religion from the extremists who have hijacked it. But so do Christians.
Christians are not carrying out terrorist attacks against innocent civilians. They are not strapping on bombs and walking into pizza restaurants, they are not flying passenger jets into skyscrapers killing thousands, they are not preaching hate (despite what you contend), they are not daily calling for the extinction of jews or muslims, they are not preaching murder at all, they are not blowing up discoteques, and they are not threatening western civilization. Any comparison is absolutely ridiculous, as was this article.

This guys logic is idiotic! The christians should level Rome for so many of their people being fed to the Christians! Hell, with his logic, the christians should be killing off all the lions in Africa!
Grow up, American society today has. Even the Christian leaders in our society do not advocate what the Islamofacists are doing today against non-believers...
Also, if you have balls, you should check out where in the world slavery is STILL being practiced. Where christians are still being tortured and killed.
Quit being a left wing closed minded jerk, it's why your socialist party is losing elections!

Well said.

Okay, I read it. The author is an idiot.
For years they have vilified liberals, feminists, gays and whoever else opposes their conservative beliefs.
Be serious now. Is "vilifying" those you disagree with the same as blowing them up?
The author, who is "vilifying" those he disagrees with, seems to think so.
I guess that makes him a terrorist?

One more time! I don't agree with the article! I posted it for exposure of a bunch of lies and half truths about Christians. :-) Glad to hear it. My apologies for assuming you agreed with the author of the article.
I wrote my comment before you made it so crystal clear in this thread, although it took me a while to post it.
Your "Barf Alert" should have been a clue. (My bad.)
We can agree: The author of this article is massively uninformed about history. He also seems quite unable to understand the difference between blowing up people and disliking someone else's religion. In other words, he's an uneducated moral retard (aka: a liberal). :)

I agree with you on not reading the post. We know what it is about. You know what it's all about. So do I. So do a lot of other people.
But many people do not.
I found that article on a RELIGION forum.
A whole host of people actually agreed with the man.
We have a duty to the truth to expose propaganda that equates Christians to Terrorists.
I posted it so that people WOULD do what has happened; answer the untruths, stand for right.
It matters that we do take action when we can.
It makes a difference.
Read this post.
Christian Terrorist
And those that follow it.
People like you and I are know the writer is lying.
At the link I provided, you will see proof that not everyone has that much discernment. They actually agree with an article equating Christians with terrorist!!!.
And no one is there to answer that false belief.
Silence in the face of an untruth is the enemy.

I am going to my son's school right now after I looked at the liberal propaganda that he just brought home.
