It's hard to decide which "line"to use.....
The"All yer phones are belong to us" line...
Or the"They blowed up real good!!" line...
Instead I'll use the "Thanks Katteracks for all yer FR posts" Wed.good morning bump line!!

"Grabbing them is always preferable to blowing them up," one official said. "But if it's a choice between losing them or blowing them up, you blow them up."Perils of cell phones bump.

Thank you :o)
How about, "Sorry, the number you are trying to reach has been disconnected".....bzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

It sounds like their cell phone system in Yemen may work better than cell phone systems in the USA.

Bet he thought 'that's one heck of a bad connectin'.
To: CWRWinger
You are very right in one way: I am almost certain there was no satellite involved. I would bet that the NSA was working with the Yemeni telco and used location data from the transcievers in the network to locate the bad guys' phone. Perhaps the LBS (location-based services) servers were a "gift" from us.
Now what's this new menu on my phone that says: "Reqest PGM delivery"

CWRWINGER WROTE: "It sounds like their cell phone system in Yemen may work better than cell phone systems in the USA."
Mine worked better on a cruise ship off the coast of Alaska than at home...that's a true story. And it's a shame!
To: kattracks
As long as it's on the same line, they should go the extra mile and have the missle beep through just before impact. If the terrorist uses their call waiting, they could play an automated message along the lines of "Look up."
To: kattracks
Well...now that we've told the rest of them how we did it.....guess we can't use that technique anymore.
To: musicman
Or the"They blowed up real good!!" line...LOL! Obviously you must be referring to the Pee Wee Gaskin's famous "I blowed him up real good" line, right?

The Russians and Israelis have been using cell phone signals to help them kill muslims for several years now. That's been widely shown on the news. Good thing for all of us that the animals are too stupid to stop using cell phones.

"But if it's a choice between losing them or blowing them up, you blow them up." and they go BOOM!

I am glad these people are dead. I am glad that we found a way to locate them and kill them. I am disappointed that the means used to pinpoint them has been made public knowledge, which lessens our ability to find others in the future.
I think the world knows that a cell phone can be triangulated, but there is no reason to advertise that that is what we have done.
