I would hope that Santa is on the left side of the walkway, signifying the self-centeredness of the liberals while the nativity scene is on the ritious right. :^)

Most cosmetic Christians think God is Santa Claus so it's rather fitting. Fitting still is the fact that those who gave us St. Nick are often more worried about how things look than how they really are....

I don't understand why you find it amusing that a Christian saint appears in the same yard as a nativity scene. Santa Claus is, after all, simply Saint Nicolas. His name has been translated into many languages through the centuries. Santa Claus in Dutch, I think.

Down in the liberal hotbet of Austin, TX, there's a neighborhood that always puts on some sort of eclectic display each year. One year, in the back of a resident's VW Microbus, there was a display of the surgeon Mary (barbie in a doctor outfit) and little baby cheeses (lot's of little pieces of cheese).
