My vote was for North Dakota, an aging, declining population, a border with canada, not very much federal land(they might get angry). Wyomoing is even more landlocked(high and dry) and alaska is atleast 51% or more federal land.

At first I liked the idea, but I've come to the conclusion that it simply won't be allowed within the borders. If you really want to do it, you have to take over a small country.

Here in the US, you'll just be subjected to a gigantic Waco.

Costa Rica is real nice.

Oooh, ooh, can we have free love and nickel beer, too?

What a whacko idea! If the people in a state want things one way, what makes it OK for strangers to move in to try to change it to another way? What happens when the "new" way is achieved, do the strangers move back to where they came or to the next state?

How are they going to find 20,000 people who all agree on every point in a list of items to change? Are we talking cult, here? Isn't this what the Hare Krishnas tried to do out in the west some years back?

This is what the Mormons did when they moved west to open territory. But, they built, rather than changed. Although, I guess this is what Mexican illegals and their leftist allies are doing, moving into an English speaking state and changing the culture and the way public resources are expended.

I hear Idaho is the leading contender. They hope to try within 4-5 years. I wonder if they intend to concentrate and try county by county, twenty thousand votes doesn't seem enough to unseat the established parties.

When the time comes and the call is heard,
when the mark has begun to be taken,
many more in number will leave this place.
Finally, all left behind will begin to splinter without
the lord's faithful holding the fabric together.
