Interesting that Lincoln didn't mention himself, or how it affected him, or his presidency. Interesting that he did not even demonize the South.

Such notions completely escaped the former president.

Hmmmmm....a memorial for the dead.
Had he been a Democrat he would have ended with:

WE WILL WIN!...WE WILL WIN!...WE WILL WIN!...

So fitting that this was read in New York on September 11.

For the record and since some people are under the impression that Walt's posting of this is an object of respect for the 9/11 victims, here's what he really thinks about 9/11 and some other topics...
