It's true that before 9/11, suicide bombing of planes was not anticipated. Hovever, I remember that the investigation originally assumed terrorism and only later concluded otherwise.

The original investigation assumed terrorism? Which agency? I doubt it was the FAA since it was run by a Clinton appointee. It seemed it was directed towards a mechanical or pilot failure as a reason from the start. But I could have missed something on it, too!!

the investigation originally assumed terrorism and only later concluded otherwise.

The first knowledgeable people to the site saw what looked like terrorism and hundreds of witnesses saw the apparent missile and terrorism was assumed until Washington, having a different set of priorities that radically devalued truth, entered the investigation.

It's true that before 9/11, suicide bombing of planes was not anticipated.

Tell that to the Secret Service agents sent to Ft. Bliss, Texas to train to operate the Stinger missile system after a stolen Cessna was crashed on the South Lawn of the white House in September, 1994.
