It is interesting that the EU passed a law forbidding talk against the EU itself, but in Germany the citizens can still trash the political elite. Encouraging, no?

"There are limits even to political satire," said Dieter Wiefelsputz, parliamentary spokesman for Schroeder's Social Democrats. "We will take a look at the video, and the chancellor will have to examine what steps to take."Then, Dieter went on to say, "Now is the time on Sprockets when we dance."

Is it too much to hope that there's a Rush somewhere over there too? Rush's show would probably be considered a hate crime in Germany.
One hour of Rush's daily show used to be on American Forces Radio, on various standard AM frequencies around Germany. But AFRS has been shutting down transmitters in recent years, so I don't know if Rush can still be heard there on AM. I think they still have their shortwave station carrying that hour, though.

I hope Rush is still heard over there.
If he is, he can play this song during the first hour of his program.
Then he'd be an American playing a German political satirical song on an American radio program aired, incidentally, in Germany.
Cosmic.

Check out the lyrics to the "Gerhard Schroeder Tax Song" in post 20.

Does anyone need more proof that there is an inverse correlation between productivity, and taxes(USA GNP > Germany > Sweden). The Swedes are catching on...
Sweden, Poorer than you Think
To: Gunslingr3
The Swedes are catching on. It took some time for them to figure out that sooner or later, Sweden is going to run out of rich people to rob.

I understand Putz, but what's a Wiefel? It means "bent".
