At a Hutchinson rally in Bentonville, Arkansas, on election eve, Bush discreetly jettisoned his standard warmp-up lines extolling Candidate X as a "good man" who, like the president, had "married above himself." Ah, well. I don't know whether to laugh or cry about Hutchinson. Now we're stuck with Pryor, and it may well be for the long term.
Seems to me that Hutchinson probably got what he deserved. He should know better. Only democrats can pretend to be virtuous and then dump their wife for a trophy wife and get away with it. Republicans can't do that.
Still, having to swallow the Pryor pill is a bit tough to do!
