I'd like to turn every Muslim on the planet into a martyr. Would that mean they'd won, or we had? Hmmmm.....

If we allow our hearts to be filled with such hate, have they not already won?
I am not a peace at any cost individual. The actions of these extermists have filled me with anquish and anger. But I refuse to have hate rule my life. Those who would kill us have to be stopped by whatever measures are needed. But let's not sacrifice our soul. Consider what your suggesting...every Muslim.

I appreciate your thoughts and concerns and agree with them. It is extremely difficult for me to wrap my mind around the idea of killing every member of one of the world's largest religions and then patting myself on the back saying "job well done". It is just too insane; but it may be necessary in the end.

That said, I really hate to see all of these "nuke mecca" comments, as I think more sutle methods are available to us. For instance those Hellfire missles. Following their next terrorist act, pick a single significant target in Mecca and take it out. Accuracy is key, show them strength and show them that we will deal harshly with another attack. If they continue to act as terrorists, then we will have to excalate to other methods.

There comes a point, where I would rather concede to their moral victory... and vanquish the enemy. At least, I might live to repent for my wrongs.
