There is no reason to think that a school in Indonesia wouldn't be targeted since the same scenario happened in Pakistan this summer on a smaller scale. What people will do in the name of God is hard to fathom.

Thats right. In Pakistan, earlier this year.... They hit a school and a Christian church (filled with Americans) if I recall, in Islamabad w/ grenades. Some embassy employees and children who were friends of the American Ambassador's children were also slaughted by the al-Qaida.

They have shown they can do it, and they indeed would not think twice about escalating the death toll.

Let me make it clear, if Muslims behave like the citizens of the countries they are in are supposed to - like good Americans and British citizens - I have no problem. However if they are acting like Communist cells used to, working to undermine, infiltrate and destroy - then I reach for the sword.

I have only heard of a couple of mullahs who are on side with us. One was a Sufi - and they are an entirely different sect from the Sunnis and Shi'ites.

You know, I'm not suggesting this as the sole solution to the problem. Our military will have to be engaged in multiple places and times. But it does seem to me that we have it in our power to bring the economies of most, if not all, muslim nations to their knees. Other than Iran, what muslim nation has yet received the Cuba treatment? Have we even gone that far with Iran, for that matter?

I see no good reason why we should not make it our policy that any muslim nation that does not FULLY COOPERATE with us in the war on terror will be treated exactly the same way as Cuba is, at least as far as economic sanctions are concerned.

And I don't give a damn about their oil! If we have to do without, then so be it.
