Yep...in fact, I'm personally in favor of making Federal Tax Receipts 100% Voluntary, as long as we are allowed to send it where we want. That is, I would refuse to pay one penny to the Department of Education because I believe it is counter-productive to the Education of our young'uns. However, I would gladly pay whatever was my share of the Military Budget. It'll work and will be a reality during our lifetime, IMHO.

The questions are certainly not the same. There isn't a single nation in the Middle East that has designs on the United States. There are certainly no tyrants there more interested in attacking the U.S. than keeping their own grip on power. In this respect they differ little from Stalin...

One problem, he has one or several nuclear weapons. You might not be concerned if you don't live in South Korea, Japan, or California, but he also has rockets to deliver them. I agree...especially in times that America is imperiled. The concern would obviously be the unpredictability of the funding, but that would only be a problem if the Taxpayers were rejecting something the Federal Leadership was involved in.
