Putin Denounces Plans for Radical Islamic worldwide Caliphate
Vladimir Putin declared in Brussels on Monday that radical Islamic groups are planning to systematically annihilate non-Moslems and to create a worldwide Caliphate.
He added that western civilisation was at risk of being attacked by terrorists, these attacks being more than sporadic one-off attacks. Rather, they are, in the opinion of Vladimir Putin a “concerted effort and programme” by an organisation which has a global structure and which has the intention to commit murderous atrocities in the name of Islam.
Vladimir Putin also declared that there was a possibility that this organisation (Al-Qaeda) already has nuclear weapons. He did not hesitate to point out that the terrorists operating in Chechnya are part of this worldwide league of extremists and indeed are in constant contact with Osama Bin Laden’s Al-Qaeda. Western sources repeatedly refer to the Chechens as “separatists” who want to fight for their independence, whereas the reality is quite different.
The Chechen terrorists are a small part of the 850,000 Chechen population, most of whom despise the bandits for what they are: common criminals with connections to international crime, posing in the name of Islam and separatism to gain sympathy for their cause from the ignorant or from those who periodically like to attack Russia.
President Putin declared that if the West does not deal effectively with the Chechen question, acts such as those perpetrated in Moscow and Bali will become commonplace all over the world.

Buchman was staunchly anti-communist. So much so that he viewed anyone opposing Communism as his ally and overlooked everything else. He was a great admireer of Adolph Hitler and called him Christs answer to communism. He believed we should expect God to aid Hitler.
Putin may or may not be evil. We don't know at this point. Buchman didn't know about hittler early on either. Simply because he is opposed to Islam making inroads into Russia is no more reason to call God's blessings on him than Buchman had to call God's blessings on Hitler because he opposed Communism.
IMO, we should wait a while before getting this solidly behind Putin.
Three hundred is an awful lot for books. Do I have to buy them hardcover or, since they are Russian histories, can I get them in the loose-leaf format favored by Russian governments?
Russias wars have invariably been defensive wars
The Russians “defended” themselves East all the way to the Japan and South to Persia. That’s pretty impressive for a “peace loving” people interested only in defending themselves. The Russians have always been an expansionist power.
…and the Chechens, aside from in all likelihood having been part of the Golden horde and aside from most of their place names sounding Mongolian, like most muslims sided with Hitler during WW-II and were sent to live in Siberia after the war.
Well, it’s as good any other excuse. Other popular excuses for Russia’s purely defensive wars of conquest include “They looked at us funny” and “They smell.”
Somebody got soft and let them return to their home base in the 60's and they repay this generosity with terrorism and attempts to simply walk off with all the oil in the region.

Actually I was thinking about the Russian annexation of the independent states of Novgorod, Pskov, and Riazan.
When Wahhabites talk about "liberation" of Russia they mean restoring the Islamic rule as it was at its largest extent. I am sure they would like to "liberate" Spain, Serbia, Greece, Bulgaria, Armenia and Georgia if they could.
I’m sure they would. In fact, I’m sure some of them would like to be masters of the planet. I’m also sure there’d be a lot less radical Muslims if fewer folks wanted revenge so badly. Sadly, there doesn’t seem to be much we can do about it now. Guess we just have to fight them.
Maybe Checins are just born evil, and it’s up to the virtuous peace-loving Russians to exterminate them. Or, perhaps Chechins have adapted to their environment in order to survive – or given up survival for the prospect of revenge. Which makes more sense to you?

WOW, WOW! So soon you will advocate nuking Poles (from Gniezno - Wielkopolska) for annexing Malopolska (Cracow) and Mazowsze (Plock and Warsaw). What about liberating Essex (London) and Northumbria (York) from those nasty English? Well, seems that the freedom loving Muslims will take of the later.
Why? Gerfang actually makes a lot of sense. Muslim Tartar khans kept Russia(Rus) divided into prinicipalites so they could control them and squeeze the tribute. Gerfang want to bring this splendid system back and who is better to initiate process than Wahhabites having bases in Chechnya.
Destruction of Russia would be an important step in establishing the world wide Caliphate. Christian nations need to be liberated (split) into small principalities before the Religion of Peace digest them all.
