God bless our guys. Wish I were over there working with them. The gubmint says I'm too old now; even though I'm 5'10", weigh 150 pounds, can still do 20 pushups and thirty sit-ups; and have 30 years business experience.

I think it's a MK-19. Awesome weapon. Particularly when combined with 50 Cals. Our platoon had 6 Mortar Tracks. 4 carried 50s and two carried MK-19s. Combined with the six 4.2" Mortars and the personal weapons- that's a lot of fire power.

Yes, my thought was, It makes sense they've got the glass on the 7.62 MG (as opposed to the 5.56 LMG's). It does look like an Elcan.

Those things are great and can take a lot of punishment!

Hold it out, waist high, drop it........no problem.
Tough, with a large objective and enough power to really
do some good.

I want one.

Thanks for the pictures SAM, these are great. Too bad the only way we get to see our guys is on FR. The media seems to have forgotten there's still a war on.
