Republican candidate John Thune inexplicably conceded

That says it all. In future, I am going to demand of any one I support in an election to swear to contest fraud with all the means at their disposal.

My fellow freepers tell me that we haven't seen the last of the Thune/Johnson election. I pray they are correct. However, in his public utterances, Thune behaved abominably. If he is to be mentioned for Public Office, I will not support him and will work against his nomination for any post, elected or appointed.

I'm inclined to agree with you. I think Thune has confused the private good (doing what is best for his own future political career) with the public good (doing what is best for honest elections, the party, and the people who worked and voted for him).
