In 1977, a preacher [for whom I've always had the greatest respect] came into a local bar and asked me if I would go with him to the house of a Vietnam combat vet, who had run off his wife and two kids and said he was going to end his life.

When we got to the house, I told the preacher to wait on me.

I went up to the door and looked into the kitchen. He was sitting at the table with a .45 and bottle of whiskey.

I knew him fairly well so I told him who I was and that I'd come up to get a drink from him. He waved me on in.

After a while I went out and told the preacher to go ahead on in there.

On our way back to town, the preacher told me that he wasn't afraid to die but sure was afraid of bullets hitting him.

I told him that there was no need to be embarrassed by fear; fear is a natural reaction to danger! And, Lord knows, I know the feeling!

It's the absolute truth.

As I'm sure you know, the *real* person is deep inside the flesh. You never *know* the *real* person unless you carefully guage their 'fruit' and use spiritual discernment.

The flesh is so very extremely temporal. (our life is but a vapor)

The flesh *knows* that it's time is short; it is fully aware that it has no place in eternity and therefore works for its own preservation. We are 3 parts; spirit, soul and body. That's the reality.

Our body, if not controlled by our mature, strong faith via the soul, will work against our eternal aspirations at every turn. I'm convinced that the Apostle Paul experienced large amounts of fear, but his 'spirit man' controlled him after his experience with Christ. He was commanded to walk his flesh into harm's way repeatedly, even foretold of his demise, and yet he 'fought the good fight' and 'won the race' nonetheless.

I have witnessed for the Lord in *hardcore* demonic, urban strongholds many times when I *feared* what might happen to my flesh.

But, I (ever-improving) try to stay 'prayed up' and know that I have no 'peace' (the God-kind; Jesus gave us His peace, left it with us; not the world's kind) unless I meet His call.

I thank God that I fully understand that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Any pain or suffering, He will see me through. And, in the end, I will suffer no more.

The stakes are TOO HIGH not to share how much our Creator loves us, that He would give His *ONLY* begotten Son (would any of us give our children to save people while yet in their sin??!!) to die for our dark ways, that we could become righteous through His free gift.

Praise the Lord God Almighty, the lover of our souls, that by His Holy Spirit and planters and waterers of the seed of hope, and the harvesters, that all men, muslim, Christian - *ALL* men, would know the truth and that it would set them free.

I have extensive experience witnessing to those in the cult of islam, and it is no doubt likened to walking into the devil's pit himself if you aren't walking in love, truth and prepared to do spiritual battle.

My flesh has been mortified more than several times, but, praise God, the Lord came for those that don't know and love His truth. His covering is sufficient by His Word and Spirit.

In all this truth lies the spiritual battle that we see manifested in the flesh as war waged in the name of mohammed and allah. The devil wants as many muslims to die before they realize adn accept God's truth as possible...and the devil wants to take as many Christians out through whatever means possible to prevent God's truth from being manifest in as many lives as can be touched. This is why America is under attack for its very viability. We are a bastion to spread God's love. When America is silenced, much of the freedom and promise goes with it...which is why I fight to preserve the Republic for yet another day. Thankfully, the Lord is in revival all over the world in these end days. Africa is *ON FIRE* with Christ's revival, as are many other places.
