Can't the UN inspectors demand proof that the mosque is really a mosque? (By, say, inspecting it?) No, but really, are mosques privately owned? Under the socialist Ba'ath party, I doubt it.

I really don't know who owns the mosques, but I would think that saddam will use every means possible to hinder or prevent searches by the UN. We all have to remember that islam is the religion of "peace", and we would be doing it an injustice to even suspect that they woiuld hide any type of weapon near such a sanctuary.
All of which doesn't really matter. We are going to war with Irag, we just need to dance a little jig before we get there. God bless the men and women or our country who will rid the earth of a man such as saddam.
