I've got a big problem with Lethal Injection. It is much too compassionate of a punishment for criminals that do not deserve any compassion. There is supposed to be an element of horror in executions. That is part of the deterrent value of capital punishment

Lethal injection is also the most expensive form of capital punishment. I heard it was over $900, compared to over $200 for the chair. Doesn't anybody care about the taxpayers? I say, go back to hanging. How much does a piece of rope cost--a few cents?
