Good mornin from Maine to all. My ping list is my memory which is one scroll up. Jen is my Public Affairs Officer and may teach me how to ping(when she wakes up).

Today's FEEBLE attempt at humor:
An aged farmer and his wife were leaning
against the edge of their pig-pen when the
old woman wistfully recalled that the next
week would mark their golden wedding
anniversary.
"Let's have a party, Homer," she suggested.
"Let's kill a pig."
The farmer scratched his grizzled head. "Gee,
Ethel," he finally answered, "I don't see why
the pig should take the blame for something
that happened fifty years ago."

Good Motning Everyone!
Jen, I agree with what you'vw posted and I agree with what Tonkin has posted too.
I hope you can forgive me for everything I've done and posted to you and I hope to be posting here agian, but not regularly like I used to, I want to make a fresh, new start and I thank Tinkin for keeping the Canteen going.
Tom, I missed your sense of humor. the burka and the jokes and "voices" even , dare i say it, the "kitty Katz"!
I won't be on FR much for the next few weeks as I am in the process of moving to a new apartment in Linthicum, But I'll try to post something when I can get on.
To the troops and lurkers, If you need to e-mail me my E-mail address is posted on my profile page, I'll post it here too,
marifrances@catholic.org.
Peace be with you!

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE! I wanted to stop by for a few minutes before heading off to "zzzzz"-land. The calm after the storm...the kitties are all fine at last.
Good morning troops, veterans, and allies everywhere. Thank You! from the bottom of my heart.
I've set up an e-mail account and posted it on my Profile Page for any of the lurking troops or vets who may care to make use of it. radu@starband.net

During the Civil War ( or the 'War Between the States' for our Southern Brethren).....the person chosen to Bear the Flag had a responsible, and honoured, position since commanders could always tell the troops 'stand by the colours'.
It made a difference in battle.
..and before going into battle it was customary for the Commander to point to the Flag Bearer and ask.."..and if that man should fall..who will carry our Flag??"
...seems the question has been answered.

Not that I don't love the ponies, but could I request a slightly taller mode of transportation....I think my legs might be a little long for those poor things.

Good morning, tomkow! It's rare I'm awake to get to say that. giggle!

The drapes are all pulled and it's so gloomy out today, I don't think the sun could do much harm anyway. LOL!! I am going to have to konk out soon. I've about reached the point of being too tired to sleep. Not good.
It's good to get a chance to see ya this morning.

Good Morning Vets, Troops, Canteen Men. Thank you so much for the lovely vase of flowers this morning.
It's so very thoughtful of you all to do this each day.
