(Democrats) .........hatred for Republicans, their accentuation of negatives, and their cheap, low class attacks and general behavior are part of their current philosophy - and it is this adopted philosophy which constitutes the domestic aspect of the Bill Clinton legacy.

For us, I think the operative word should be "nasty." This neatly sums up the Democratic modus operandi particularly in the way they campaign for office. The "nasty party" fits Democrats like a glove.
