the same pol says Gov. Barnes in Georgia will trounce Sonny Purdue or Liddy Dole will lose to Erskine Bowles...or the one sayinf Mummy Mondale beats Coleman by 7 pt...the dims are grasping straws here...53 to 41 - still a 12 pt lead...how wide the margin poor barb is looking for 60 to 35 - lol...

That would be my guess .. most liberals I know say they are glad Bush is President and that Gore lost

Must have been from THIS right-wing magazine:
"...The new NEWSWEEK [Nov. 18, 2002 issue] Poll illustrates why Bush should tread carefully. Despite the GOP’s success, his approval rating had diminished to 60 percent, still high by historical standards but his lowest since 9-11. His “re-elect” number was 48 percent, hardly an overwhelming level as he and his aides begin to plan for the 2004 campaign.

He wins a test match against Al Gore by a 54-39 percent margin...
