"Excellent Analysis on the Source of D'asshole's Rage!!"

"Well look at it this way Doctor. Daschle would have passed all the appropriation bills this year but he decided on a continuing resolution to continue them until next year when he might have the house and he would certainly have 2 or 3 more votes in the Senate. Then he looks up on election night and realized he has handed control of this years appropriations to Bush and Trent Lott."

"Then he finds out Bush has talked to a bunch of Democrat Senators and they are ticked at what McAuliffe and Daschle had done to them. AFter the chats Daschle no longer even had 40 votes to filibuster the Home Security bill. Bush had 65 votes to bring it up over Daschles dead body. All Daschle could do was pretend it was his idea to bring it up. Bush was prepared to humiliate him by passing it his way, before Talent took office with the same senators who had blocked bush in 2001 and 2002. Those Democratic senators used to be aligned with their brother Daschle. Now they were scared to death of George Dubya Bush."

"Imagine before the new Republicans even take office, Bush has control of 16 of your senators. Look at the cloture vote on Homeland Security. It was 65 to 29. Bush had 16 Democrats who had served the last two years fighting bush, now voting with him. Note that 6 Democrats didn't even show up to vote."

"That is called humiliation city. Daschle was so mad at Bush and Lott he tried to kick Rush Limbaugh in the teeth.... but his feet would not go that high over his head.. It ain't easy being a little D'asshole."

"Would you be so kind as to list said "trigger words"

Well, let's say we're talking about a play. movie or a comedians's bit that failed and we used the word "bombed" when referring to its failure, then the gov't spies could say we're using a code and are planning an attack of some sort. Far fetched? Perhaps, but, we're dealing with intense fear right now what with all the "alerts" of impending attacks (of which I no longer pay attention as I refuse to live in fear).

Another example would be that based on our posts relative to the traitors, it may be possible that a gov't profiler could say that those of us who want justice to prevail could be dangerous, if, we say that we hope that the law "takes him out" from walking free, meaning of course, put them in prison. Do you remember that incident a couple of months ago when that woman said she overheard some students "joking" about 9/11 in a restaurant? Remember the scene where all their property were spread across the highway? I believe they were released , but, they lost their student status. Do you see the potential danger of a fearful society wherein we report someone who makes a bad joke? Just review some of your lyrics and see if you have "trigger words" that could be mis-construed by some gov't czar as being potentially dangerous.

"For the children", "nuclear war", "racist", "pending terrorist attack" are all "trigger words" to evoke emotions
of compassion and fear and/or to keep people "on edge". These words are used to pass bad legislation and bad laws.

Is it possible that Orwell's 1984 is off by 20 years?

Mud, I don't like what I'm seeing relative to the power the feds are giving to themselves including land grabs. I don't like the term "Homeland" security as I prefer "National Security". All this is being done with acquiescence of a republican controlled congress.

Should I put a tin foil hat on? Perhaps, but, I see a pattern forming that, IMO, does not bode well for individual freedoms and, sad to say, many Americans are buying into.

"SHEEEESH, I'm beginning to wonder if ANYBODY at either Auburn or Alabammy still knows their way around the gridiron...MUD"

As an Ole Miss fan (I did send them a lot of money for five years) I got to see some SEC football games. My observations:

1. Alabama has cuter cheerleaders than does Auburn.
2. Alabama's fans are a tiny bit less obnoxious than Auburn's.

But both programs are notorious for cheating and recruiting violations. These are usually covered up, but Alabama's were so egregious this time that they couldn't be overlooked.

"Ann Coulter Takes the Leather to the NooYawkSlimes!!"

"Nor was there much neutrality shown between George Bush and the Nobel Peace Prize Committee. After the Norwegians – who gave us the term "quisling" – awarded former President Jimmy Carter the Peace Prize citing his vocal opposition to President Bush's war policies, the press sprang to action. The whole chorus began calling this comically inept president one of America's "greatest." Good Morning America's Charles Gibson said Carter had "become, in the opinion of many, the greatest ex-president of modern times."

at least AUBURN's band still plays DIXIE, un-like the "oh, so sensitive & PC" ole' miss bunch.

BTW, BY FAR the MOST OBNOXIOUS FANS belong to the Univ. of Arkansas & their cheerleaders tend to look like their mascot.

i will NEVER forget the year we went to Fayetteville & they refused to sell us GAS at a couple of service stations, only because we were towing a trailer, laden with a statue of a WAR EAGLE eating a hog! U of AR folks have NO sense of humor PERIOD!

"...at least AUBURN's band still plays DIXIE, un-like the "oh, so sensitive & PC" ole' miss bunch...

Ole Miss coach Tommy Tuberville requested the banning of the Confederate Flag and playing of "Dixie" at home games so he could recruit black players. Then Tuberville becomes coach at Auburn and has no problem with these "symbols." Hmmmm.

"BY FAR the MOST OBNOXIOUS FANS belong to the Univ. of Arkansas."

I have had no interaction with Arkansas fans, but they can't be worse than those at LSU and Mississippi State.

"...& their cheerleaders tend to look like their mascot"

BWAHAHAHA. That is likely true!!

I especially avoid use of Trigger words in the subject line of my e-mails. I will use sn*per instead of sniper, for example. Especially, when I am corresponding with some of my gun nut associates.

A very wise decision. You obviously are aware of "trigger" words raising a red flag especially in view of recent events.
