"Not enough info here to know if I can help or not... Her daughter does need to call the local police though asap... They will tell her the report can't be filed though until 24 hours have passed unless she explains you are sure/think it's fowl play and WHY very clearly. You'll need to have her vechile tags and Registeration, bank info, list of her planned where abouts and anything else available when she calls... Have her make that call immediately...

Call the local tv and radio stations for any area that they think she or her card have been and ask for them to comment on the car and plate number asking for anyone who's seen it to contact them... Have her leave contact info with the stations...

OMG Prarie Lady, she would know her own pins. If she was with someone you would think they would make her give pin numbers. This does not sound good. I will say some prayers. please keep us updated.

This is a real long shot...but is there a way you can find out what numbers she did punch in when using the wrong pin number? DH said he knew of a case where a person was forced to use their card and deliberately put in the wrong pin numbers to flag the system AND they also spelled something out with the numbers they did choose. Took a bit to figure out but this individual had put in a location they were being forced to drive to.

Does anyone here know what the most popular "Trucker" and "Rv'er" bulletin boards are?
Threads on those boards would one way to start getting the word out to the trucking and RV community ASAP.
Another way would be for the family members and friends in the area to blanket the truck stops with fliers handing them to the people and putting them on walls and under windshield wipers etc.
PL You might also consider starting a thread here at TB and over at Freepers etc specifically calling for help from East coast truckers.
