The most frustrating thing to me, is that my husband has been gone almost two weeks, and had he been home, I could have/would have *had* to be up there searching. I just feel that there's more that I could be doing, and I have to keep reminding myself that dh is away. It's just hard. I want to be in a car or on foot searching.

OK... try this one on for frustration -- the LEO up in Brunswick County has had an excuse EVERY SINGLE DAY for why I (and a group of "civilians") DON'T need to come help them.
(Please forgive me since I need to vent here) Now I find out that they're doing the same thing to the woman from CUE (Center for Missing Persons)... She wants to take me and others and go up... and they're telling her not to come. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR....
So, to me it's more frustrating to BE HERE and not be allowed to help!!! I told Monica from CUE tonight that if Alice is NOT found tonight, we're just going to have to barge in on their party tomorrow. I've had it with doing what I can ... I need to do more.... :(

I'm going to try to make this link "clickable" because the URL is ridiculously long... But
this map is the area I personally think Alice is in.
