This is an urgent plea for help from Prairie Lady; these are her posts: [copied]
I JUST got off the phone with my neice. It seems my sister (her mother) is missing since yesterday between 3pm and 4:40pm yesterday from the SouthCarolina area.
She headed north as far as we can track, but then nothing. This is TOTALLY uncharacteristic of her.
We need to know if she is on her own willingly making decisions, or if she has been abducted and is in need of help. Is there anybody from that area that can help?
----------------------
ok, she spoke to hubbie from home via phone about 3 pm yesterday afternoon. She left home at that time saying she was headed for her local walmart near Aynor South Carolina..I don't know the exact town...maybe conroe or something? She never made it to walmart. Survaliance tapes show she never went in there. She withdrew some money from the bank locally. She put gas in her car at the north carolina / south carolina state line (cherry creek). She withdrew a BUNCH of money in Raliegh Durham North Carolina. She spoke to her daughter at 4:30 saying she was going christmas shopping and that she would be late. But she never made it home.
If she had any inclinations to leave home, she never indicated it, and she would NOT be heading NORTH!!
She is 5'7 inches tall, LONG legs, 150 lbs, has very short medium brown hair. lots of freckels, hazel eyes. Driving a Dark Blue BMW 4 door with a mini antennea on the driver's side on the post between the door and the windshield, licence plate # 845HLG
----------------------
Go ahead and post it at freeps..thanks

My brother in law is former military police. He made a call to the police and is tracking bank usage which is showing itself to be very abnormal such as numerous attempts to use the various cards but rejects due to wrong pin numbers. He's requested survalance tapes from the banks as well. She was supposed to go to walmart, but walmart survaliance tapes show she never made it there. So, hes compiling stuff to show that something IS very wrong.
Also, she talked to her daughter AFTER one of the cash drafts and said someting weird to her daughter...like I love you...and she NEVER says that to THAT daughter.
Anyway, I didn't want to put all this on the boards...
This is too weird.

Pretty weird that he was headed FOR Columbus since it's likely if he was with Branden the day before in Ashland he had already come THROUGH Columbus from there... so was he backtracking? Weird.

Thanks to them for sure!
I'm thinking she's reading about what happened last night... the chase that is...

That is right. I've read that these two had changed plates in the past.
To: TankGurrrl
Actually, they specifically said at one point that they thought it was a different car because that question was asked, but I think the response was just speculation on the part of the reporter.

Must be familiar territory for him

"Fulks was arrested on Aug. 25 this year when police were called to a domestic disturbance in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Madisonville, Ky., and was found to be driving a vehicle with stolen plates. When he escaped Nov. 4, the Lewisburg, Ky. man was being held on charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, theft of a license plate, giving officers a false name and 12 counts of using a stolen credit card.
According to a Kentucky State Police record, an investigation also found that he was involved in burglaries or thefts in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and South Carolina; that the U.S. Marshal's Office wanted him for probation violations; and that the FBI wanted him for allegedly stealing FBI credentials, using them to make traffic stops and then robbing the motorists at gunpoint."

FOX reporting this again now and showing stills of Fulks. They said that Basham fired two shots at police as they chased him. I must have missed that if it's been mentioned before.
To: getmeouttaPalmBeachCounty_FL
FOX News at it again...Jonathan Serry(sp) reporting. OK, LE threw spikes in road to stop the car. Reports are that car was leaking fluids AFTER running over the spikes BUT Serry says LE lost sight of car. GOOD GRIEF! How difficult is it to lose sight of a disabled vehicle? Did this happen AFTER they lost him at the rest stop or was this during the same incident?
To: Magnolia
I think the trooper thought that the other trooper had been struck by the cop, so he stopped to render aid. It turns out the 1st trooper was just jumping out of the way. I read that somewhere.

Yeah... they mentioned it before... but it might have been in the article I read where they were calling him by the alias he gave... from before they id'd him...
To: CFW
Thanks CFW for setting that straight. It's become too confusing trying to merge the different reports into a picture of what actually happened. So...Alice's car is disabled & leaking fluids after leaving rest stop and driving over spikes LE must have put down before an attempt to apprehend him?

MISSING WOMAN
Name: Alice Donovan
Height: 5 feet 7 inches
Weight: 150 pounds
Hair: Light brown, short
Eyes: Hazel
Info: Donavan was last seen in a parking lot of a Conway, South Carolina, Wal-Mart. Her car, a dark blue BMW 318i, with South Carolina license plate 845-HLG, is missing.
ASHLAND, Kentucky (CNN) -- One of two escaped convicts wanted in the abduction of a South Carolina woman was in custody Tuesday in Kentucky, police said, while a man thought to be the second one evaded authorities in a high-speed chase in Ohio.
Branden Basham, 21, was arrested Sunday night in Ashland along the Ohio River after a brief gun battle with police, Ashland police Capt. Robert Ratliff said.
Basham and Chadrick Fulks, 25, escaped from the Hopkins County Detention Center in Madisonville, Kentucky, on November 4. Ohio State Patrol officers said Fulks eluded them Monday night.
Fulks and Basham are wanted in connection with the Thursday kidnapping and carjacking of Alice Donovan in Conway, South Carolina. Donovan's whereabouts remain unknown Tuesday, authorities said.
Ratliff said Basham's arrest came after a woman reported a carjacking in Ashland. When a police officer responded to the 7:21 p.m. call, Basham fired two shots at him, and the officer returned fire. Neither was hit, Ratliff said, and officers chased Basham down to the city's riverfront.
"We set up containment, continued our search, and within an hour to an hour and a half, he came out," Ratliff said. Basham had tried to hide in the river but surrendered "when he got too cold," the captain said.
On Monday night, Ohio authorities spotted a stolen BMW at a rest area on U.S. Highway 23 near Marion, about 180 miles north of Ashland. State troopers chased a late-model BMW they identified as stolen and possibly linked to the case. They tried to stop the car by deflating its tires, but the vehicle and driver -- believed to be Fulks -- escaped.
"Troopers tried to stop the vehicle by putting down stop sticks, but the suspect drove across the median and headed south on U.S. 23," said Lt. Ken Garlock. "Troopers tried a second time to stop the vehicle with stop sticks, but this time the suspect swerved onto the berm and continued on at a high rate of speed."
Garlock said the pursuit went on for seven to eight miles with top speeds of 130 mph.
The BMW was last seen with a West Virginia license plate 4DK302. The plate was stolen from another vehicle and placed on the BMW, Garlock said.
Authorities suspect Basham and Fulks in Donovan's disappearance in South Carolina. Security cameras recorded the alleged abduction at a Wal-Mart parking lot in Conway, near Myrtle Beach. The alleged kidnappers fled in Donovan's dark blue BMW with her ATM card, the FBI said.
Basham was serving a five-year sentence for possession of a forged document at the time of his escape, while Fulks has a more extensive criminal record.
Fulks was arrested in August in Kentucky on charges of possessing a firearm as a convicted felon, giving a false name to police and 12 counts of using a stolen credit card.
Police in Madisonville said Fulks was involved in numerous burglaries or thefts in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and South Carolina. They said federal officials also suspected him of stopping and robbing motorists using stolen FBI credentials.
In addition to Donovan's disappearance, the men are suspected in the kidnapping of a Kentucky man the day after their escape. They also are wanted in connection with a burglary and shootout in South Carolina the same day Donovan was kidnapped.
