Missing Adult, HELP NEEDED (crime in progress?) [SC]

I JUST got off the phone with my neice. It seems my sister (her mother) is missing since yesterday between 3pm and 4:40pm yesterday from the SouthCarolina area.

She headed north as far as we can track, but then nothing. This is TOTALLY uncharacteristic of her.

We need to know if she is on her own willingly making decisions, or if she has been abducted and is in need of help. Is there anybody from that area that can help?

ok, she spoke to hubbie from home via phone about 3 pm yesterday afternoon. She left home at that time saying she was headed for her local walmart near Aynor South Carolina..I don't know the exact town...maybe conroe or something? She never made it to walmart. Survaliance tapes show she never went in there. She withdrew some money from the bank locally. She put gas in her car at the north carolina / south carolina state line (cherry creek). She withdrew a BUNCH of money in Raliegh Durham North Carolina. She spoke to her daughter at 4:30 saying she was going christmas shopping and that she would be late. But she never made it home.

If she had any inclinations to leave home, she never indicated it, and she would NOT be heading NORTH!!

She is 5'7 inches tall, LONG legs, 150 lbs, has very short medium brown hair. lots of freckels, hazel eyes. Driving a Dark Blue BMW 4 door with a mini antennea on the driver's side on the post between the door and the windshield, licence plate # 845HLG

My brother in law is former military police. He made a call to the police and is tracking bank usage which is showing itself to be very abnormal such as numerous attempts to use the various cards but rejects due to wrong pin numbers. He's requested survalance tapes from the banks as well. She was supposed to go to walmart, but walmart survaliance tapes show she never made it there. So, hes compiling stuff to show that something IS very wrong.

Also, she talked to her daughter AFTER one of the cash drafts and said someting weird to her daughter...like I love you...and she NEVER says that to THAT daughter.

Update on Burglars Who Shot at a Horry County Man

A Horry County man got a surprise Thursday (11/14) after he surprised a pair of burglars ransacking his son's home.

Carl Jordan says the burglars started shooting at him.

Jordan, of the Juniper Bay community west of Conway, was checking out his son's house Thursday (11/14) when he spotted a green van in the driveway. "I saw a suspicious vehicle sitting in the yard," Jordan said.

He says when he pulled alongside the van, he saw some guns belonging to him and his son. "Once I saw the guns I turned around and penned the van in," Jordan said.

"When I pulled in front of the van, one of the burglars came out of the backdoor, and I said 'halt, I got ya," Jordan explained. The burglar didn't heed his warning.

Jordan says the burglar jumped in the van, started the engine, and stopped short of rear-ending his truck. He says that's when the shooting started.

"They shot the window out behind my head on a king cab truck. The bullet got the glass behind me." Jordan recalls the next thing he saw, another burglar come out the front door firing a gun at him.

Jordan says he chased the pair for several miles in the van while they continued to shoot at his truck. After he lost them, police say the burglars ditched the van and stole a truck. Investigators believe the burglars tried to break in at least one other home before the incident.

On Friday (11/15), it appeared Jordan was luckier than even he may have thought. Horry County police say the two suspects are Chadrick Fulks and Branden Basham, two escaped convicts from a Western Kentucky jail. They escaped on November 4 and allegedly kidnapped a man shortly thereafter. They are considered armed and extremely dangerous.

So far no arrests have been made. Jordan was not hurt in the incident. The pair of burglars could also face charges of assault with intent to kill after shooting at Jordan.

Police say if you ever find yourself in a similar situation, you should stay away from the burglars. They advise you to go to the nearest phone and call the cops. Police say don't try to encounter the criminals yourself, you might not get as lucky as Jordan.

Kidnap suspects' trail emerges

The truck used in the kidnapping of a Western Kentucky man Wednesday was found Sunday in northern Indiana.

FBI agents in Portage, Ind., located the 1989 GMC Sierra in a Days Inn parking lot at 3:53 p.m. There were no traces of the suspected kidnappers, Branden L. Basham, 21, of Hopkins County, Ky., and Chadrick E. Fulks, 25, of Logan County, Ky.

Attempts to reach the FBI and the Kentucky State Police public information officer were unsuccessful, and officials with the Portage Police Department said they didn't know much about the case.

"All I know is that the FBI called us and asked for help impounding (the vehicle)," said John Ryan, a spokesman for the Portage department.

The two suspects, who escaped from the Hopkins County Detention Center on Nov. 4, are suspected of kidnapping James P. Hawkins, 42, of Hanson, Ky., after knocking on his door and asking to use his telephone. All three then got into Hawkins' pickup truck and disappeared.

Hawkins was found at about 2 p.m. the next day, when he flagged down a passing driver near Old State Road and Volkman Road in Vanderburgh

County. The men had bound him with duct tape and electrical cord, and had him tied to a tree. After struggling with his bindings for 14 hours in the cold, Hawkins was able to break free and flag down a motorist.

The two suspects remain at large, and are considered armed and dangerous.

Basham is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is missing the ring finger of his right hand.

Fulks is 6 feet tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has blond hair and blue eyes, with tattoos on his arms and shoulders.

One of my sisters in SC was able to access an FBI man. He took down the information and is contacting his supervisors. He sees no reason for the fbi not to be able to offer their services, stating that the secretary at the Columbia office was mistaken.

I passed along the secret service post to BIL. We discussed that avenue just this morning. He needed the information provided in the thread.

We have been working furiously for hours trying to contact the news agencies such as Sun News (myrtle beach), Fox, abc, and others. We have had very little success with it since the phone numbers are not made available on line, or if numbers are avalilable, they give stupid things like power ball numbers, voice mail, or tip lines.

the email I sent to channel 13 was NEVER looked at! Another brother in law was able to contact them via phone and they had not heard anything, nor had they received the email I sent with the pix.

The police are looking at a possible tie in with those kentucky robbers or may another pair because a robbery attempt was made at a house behind the walmart my sister went to.

And if this was a kid there would be Amber Alerts all over - it makes it look like the life of an adult is worth less, in their eyes.
This completely pisses me off.

What I would do, were I you and her BIL, is call EVERY radio, newspaper, and TV station in a 300 mile radius and explain the situation. Many places will jump on something if they think they can scoop another news organization. And once this gets out it may light a fire under their butts.

Also, contact your state gov't representative for that district and maybe even your federal congressperson(s) - sometimes pressure by them helps.

Still praying...... What really is ticking me off is that PL's BIL has photo footage VERIFYING that some man/men have stolen and used her Credit Card/Bank Card and THEY ARE DOING NOTHING. BIL is having to do all of his own legwork. How much more proof do they need THAT SOMETHING IS WRONG. JMHO. They should be exposed for sure.

Does anyone know how to contact CCN, Fox or MSNBC? If anyone has any "ins" with the major news sources, and they got ahold of it, the locals would be all over this story like bees on honey. Unfortunately, I went to look for ways to contact them on the internet, and found nada. Maybe one of our members could, though? Prayers continue.

and I was getting no where with law enforcement...I would claim it was terrorist related. That would garner some activity, I bet.

I just did a quick research. I feel SURE that we can get this story, with all your photos onto Fox 5 News here in D.C. I tried to find John Walsh's D.C. home number, but it's unlisted. So I called their news desk. Got a woman who is VERY interested, but was going into a meeting and asked me to call back in 5 mins. That was at 3:30 EST just now. I will call her back. I will give her this website to check your post, complete with all those photos. I will ask her to look at it and see if there is interest.

Don't think this is a long shot: when the sociopathic mother kicnapped her son from the custodial parent father and SAR0 helped, and so forth, he got the story onto Fox 5 News, AND John Walsh gave it a plug when "America's Most Wanted" ended, saying "Be SURE to watch the news next, to help find a missing child." Walsh is VERY interested in missing persons stories, and helping get them back.

Now...how would I tell this woman to contact you fast? I have only the one phone, so can't stay on here and call her both. So I would say you can private message me here with your phone number, if you feel comfortable with that, and give it to me to give to her.

Anything is worth a try at this critical juncture.

Meanwhile, along with all your friends here, I am praying for Alice and your whole family...just found this and cannot stop praying over and over.

Prairie Lady, I am SO glad the FBI is now getting involved. Thank God for that answered prayer.

As to Fox 5 News here in D.C., they felt that it was not local news enough, though they "were heading north," which I told them, to be on their broadcast. Sorry!

They did give me the local number for John Walsh's publicity person, and his Managing Director, and I spoke with the first and left a voice mail for the second. However, that isn't getting the word out fast enough, obviously. But I will keep those numbers for future reference.

Still urgently praying.
