"..... the network may favor "spectacular attacks" that result in mass casualties and severe damage to the U.S. economy."
How do we convince al Qaeda that Hollywood would best fit the bill? The liberal, mindless sheeple would be deprived of their emotional lifeblood and reason for living; the cancerous, purulent film industry and the accompanying press, etc. would be demolished; a good many nauseating traitors and their hop-headed, perverted comrades mercifully would nauseate us no more; and the damage would largely involve those segments of the US economy that are in need of damaging.
I really don't wish anyone dead, but if al Qaeda must and inevitably will have its way, (paraphrasing JFK) "Let them come to Hollywood."
Talk about making lemonade out of lemons....

We-e-e-ll, I'd say that if we got an attack, this guy's the first one to be hung from the yardarm in full view of the public and of every TV station in the world. And we just keep doing it to all these leaders until they're all gone...

...that result in mass casualties and severe damage to the U.S. economy... Please don't flame, but 911 (from the terrorists perspective) was more of an attack on our economy than on innocent civilians. Bin Laden doesn't value life and freedom as we do, but he understands our robust and diverse culture is directly tied to our economic strength.
Killing people leaves an emotional scar on Americans, but taking out key infrastructure leaves a permanent (WTC) and terribly expensive scar on our nation. I look for future attacks to be aimed at economic assets like bridges, tunnels, water supplies, etc. I hope I'm wrong. (Dog: I've been offline all day)

What was that about "no progress in the terror war", Mr. Douchle?
Little Tommy is the master of good timing (for us).

Dubya let loose the dogs of the CIA, and they are doing a great job. 'Bout time it happened, and look at the results.
Hat's off to 'em! Dubya AND our boys in the CIA.
Teeth are rattling all over the terrorist world.
As they should be.

Mullah Big Clymer Shorty Da$$hole, shown below, is laughing as they haven't caught him yet as the highest ranking member of al Qaeda in the US Senate! ![](http://www.mikeonline.com/images/dascleladen.jpg)
Mullah Da$$hole says, "BUSH IS SO STUPID. HE DOESN'T REALIZE THAT I'M A CARD TOTING AL QAEDA. I'M THE HEAD AL QAEDA IN THE US SENATE!

Bush said that there'd be times of great activity, times when it will quiet, and then things that we'll never hear about. It's during the quiet times that people get restless and start saying stupid stuff.
I'm sure that this was timed to respond to Daschle's remarks, but it also shows that the administration is aware of who's doing what, to one degree or another. They were probably observing the guy in order to gather as much intelligence as possible, but when Daschle started barking about questionable progress, the administration decided that enough was enough and nabbed the guy.
