Far as the Gores are concerned, it's all about him, he isn't even curious about why those Freepers were so incensed.

And not for a moment do I think Kareena is telling the truth about her daddy wanting to "do what's best for the country." He hadn't done that for eight years while VP, so there's no reason to believe he did it then.

More likely, he was screaming into the phone for someone to clear those chanters off the streets, and being told the law could NOT do that.
