Bawawahaha! I love it!
As I remember correctly. It was the Thanksgiving week-end. Mr. T and I were sitting in our home in New Jersey with our blood boiling and really upset at what was happeneing. My daughter and her family were there for Thanksgivng and we asked her if she mind if dad and I drove to DC to join the "Sore Loserman" Rally.
Within minuets, we were packed and on to DC. We called and reserved a room in a down town Hotel by the White House(Can't remember the name). I called home to let everyone know we got ther Ok and I found out Dog was looking for a ride. Oh WOW! We had just missed each other. We would have given Dog a ride, but we left so quickly, we missed each other.
Anyway, that's my memory of the "Sore Loserman" Rally. No one paid me, or busses me there. I saw it on FR and took myself to the Rally. Gore is re-writing history folks.

"Priceless" ROFL, Interesting Time's Mastercard riff is priceless too!
Angelwood -- I didn't go to the VP's house back then. But I remember pleading with my boyfriend that we should go and join them. I was too chicken to go on my own then. But I remember hearing a news report that Al Gore was upset becaue the "get out of Cheney's house" chanting was making his daughters upset. And my boyfriend rightfully told the TV: "That line might work if his daughters were 10. But they're grown-up political operatives."
Now this grown-up political operative claims that the union people didn't come because as they tried to get the lefties out, Al Gore stopped them. Wait. Stop. I thought the Gore daughters were supposedly distraught and reducted to tears at the time. So it's not just Al Gore who is a mystery to me. Now I realize I don't really know the Al Gore daughters. Are they savvy political operatives who remember it all like yesterday and were swinging into action at the time? Or are they teary-eyed victims who were collapsing in distraught? It's sooooo confusing.

The truth didn't get out thanks to these folks!
Sorry, Gorons. You lost. You tried to steal the election and you lost.

And he was on the phone, really calling off the dogs. There were people who wanted to fan the
the flames of the racial issue and have real unrest. And he was on the phone asking them not to...Oh, golly, gee. Isn't Gore wonderful? Here were these nasty right-wingers being oh, so mean to Gore and his widdle family, and Gore could have sunk to the same level, but he was bigger than that. Aren't we all so ashamed now? NOT. Gag me.
I hope every Freeper who actually participated in those protests sends an email pointing out Gore's blatant, vicious LIES. Just when I think this man has sunk as low as he can go, he tops himself.

We had a live thread about this during the convention. It was the night Gore accepted the nomination, I believe.
Oh, deport....(she said in a sweet and persuasive voice), is there any way to find that thread? It would be so good to link it to this one!

BUMP. Man the Freepers really geot under their skin. I wonder if Gore understands it was a conservatieve grass roots effort and is lying or if he believes this was organized by the RNC?
To: Freedom'sWorthIt
I think it's called PROJECTION, that is, accusing others of doing what you do or want to do, ie. Gores projecting his ideas or actions onto his adversaries...the clintons do this all the time too. They are all certifiably delusional.

I especially love the quote " And where are our crowds?"
Obviously Gore did really say, "dont bus in our thugs." No way the weirdos can manage this on their own.

You can ummm tell when the Gore family umm forgot their uhh talking points about the right wing conspiracy against them.
Algore is not my president.

From Reason Magazine, November 2000:
The unspoken premise of the film: We are getting a never-before-seen look behind the candidates facade. We are seeing the "real" Al Gore, body surfing with his family this minute and dressed for Halloween as Frankensteins monster the next. The potential leader of the free world shows us the bedroom he used when he was a teenager ("the beds still not made," Gore cracks), points out a revealing self-portrait Tipper painted while pregnant (prompting her to block the camera while objecting, "Al, youre really showing him our house"), and makes funny faces for the benefit of his year-old grandson (and, more important, the camera). The film ends with Gore asking one of his daughters to turn out the lights and inquiring, "Now, do you want me to get up and cook breakfast for you?"
In November of 2000 you could still order the film from C-SPAN.

I just got home and this thread is incredible.
To our DC Freepers THANKYOU so very much.
You made more of a difference than I think you will ever realize by starting this protest back in 2000! My only regret is being family bound and unable to get to DC on a moments notice.
Good news is I am still fairly young and as soon as my kids get out into the real world I will be able to freep some more.
Thankyou also to ABC and the Peter Jennings network for having the NOTE so we were able to find this little tidbit which otherwise would have been withheld from us.

"And he (Gore) was on the phone, really calling off the dogs. There were people who wanted to fan the
the flames of the racial issue and have real unrest." I find this statement really telling and a good insight into the democrazies hidden agendas.

I just cleared the record on this on the Mark Larson morning show. Gore will be on Mark's show next week and I asked him to make sure Gore acknowledges it was individual FReepers, not people bussed in by the RNC. I think there is a link for his show aa www.870krla.com. I hope you will try and call Hannity radio today. I can send him the link and maybe he will get it.

Perhaps the Republican operatives drugged us before they loaded us onto the buses, and that's why we don't remember.
Yeah, that's the ticket.
