To say that most of the adherents in America to the Islamic faith are peaceful is absolutely correct. It's just a question of semantics, but I think we ought to get the semantics clear.

Indeed, get semantics clear. But what Robertson fails to acknowledge is that most of the adherents in America to the Islamic faith are merely a Trojan Horse !!!

Our President needs oil and allies more than he needs to tell the truth about Islam. This will all come home to him some day. He thinks his lies are justified.

I'll take President Bush's word over Robertson's.

You obviously are not interested in the whole truth, and nothing but the whole truth.

This response by Robertson is very well articulated and 1000% dead on the money accurate and truthful.

"I'll take President Bush's word over Robertson's."

Good for you! In that case you and Robertson agree that Islam is part of the "axis of evil". No problem, then.

Um, so are you saying you don't mind being labeled and demonized by every single thing a white man has done in the man of Christianity?

Because if you believe that ALL Muslims are evil based on the acts of the fundamentalists, then you have to believe that all white people are just like Timothy McVeigh.

I'm sure that most agree with fact that Islam is not a religion of peace.

But the United States Government cannot state that as its policy. Right now, anyway. Maybe in the future.

Things are very delicate right now, I believe Bush and Powell know exactly who and what the enemy is. There are probably many reasons why they do not state their opinions on Islam.

They just cannot say it, it may cause some muslims who are helping them to balk. After all it is Muslims who are hiding and protecting Bin Laden.

To say that Muhammad was a demon-possessed pedophile is not an attack. It's a fact. (And for the record, Timothy McVeigh is not the founder of Christianity. He wasn't even a Christian. He was an atheist who happened to be a gentile.)

You're doing the exact same thing that liberals do -- you know, the thing that drives you crazy. You cannot paint a whole religion, whether you believe in it or not, as evil because of what a few do.

ISLAM IS FROM SATAN But when they arrived, they were shocked to hear that Muhammad regretted his confession and that he considered it as falling prey to the whispering of Satan. Thus, today Islam considers Sura an-Najm (Star) 53:19-22 as the Satanic Verses, rejected afterwards by Muhammad. Salman Rushdi did not invent these verses. They have been in the Qur'an since its inception. In Sura Hajj (Pilgrimage) 22:52-53, Muhammad confessed his mistake, supposing that all prophets were tempted by Satan who would inspired them with his verses, as if they were actually revealed by God. But later on Allah abrogated these Satanic Verses with new revelations and judges his people according to these new verse. In Islam Allah permits such demonic inspiration to test weak Muslims or to cut off those with hardened hearts.

Never did We send a messenger or a prophet before thee, but, when he framed a desire, Satan threw some (vanity) into his desire: but Allah will cancel anything (vain) that Satan throws in, and Allah will confirm (and establish) His Signs: for Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom: That He may make the suggestions thrown in by Satan, but a trial for those in whose hearts is a disease and who are hardened of heart: verily the wrong-doers are in a schism far (from the Truth): Hajj (Pilgrimage) 22:52-53. Yusuf 'Ali's translation

The true, vital issue about the Satanic verses in the Qur'an is this. If Muhammad were unable to distinguish Satan’s voice from God’s voice, could there then be verses in the Qur'an which Muhammad assumed were from God but were really from Satan? Maybe the whole Qur'an is Satanic in origin, in spite of Muhammad’s conviction that it was Allah who revealed the suras to him.
