Without reading any of the replies, my reaction is that if the election had gone the other way, you wouldn't hear Bush whining, giving interviews, and generally making a </ expletive> out of himself.
Can't wait to read the replies.

The Gorebatross was done in by Jeb last week. I mean he campaigned in the last days to avenge a stolen election and got zip, zero, zilch, and nada to show for it. Apparently Florida voters didn't agree and indicated that President Bush deserved all of Florida's 25 electoral votes back in 2000.

My thoughts exactly. Had Bush lost, he would be enjoying life down on his ranch with his beautiful wife.
Never trust a man who really, really wants to be President. Dubya had to be talked into it. The Republican Powers That Be went to him. He wasn't driven to the job by his ego and a raw desire for power.
Gore was bred and groomed for the Presidency by his Daddy. He was groomed so much that he became a souless automaton--a man without a personality of his own. It was both pitiful and comical to watch Gore morph form persona to persona as he tried to make himself into President. Gore truly believes it is his birthright.
Dubya on the other hand was the son of a President. He saw first hand what the job really was.
It's ironic that the man who would be king is slowing stewing in his own defeat--and he defeated himself--while the man who really didn't want the job has found his voice and his life's mission. Thank you, Lord!
