Precisely correct. More to the point, this is the first time in her life that she's actually accountable for what she says. Sounds like Nickles was asking for an accounting, and she couldn't pony up.
One has to question whether she'll learn her lesson and take the time to learn her own positions, or whether she'll make up for her ignorance by getting face-time on TV.
She'll probably opt for the face time -- it's lots easier, and the electorate probably doesn't know the difference.
