I was watching the hearing on C-Span this morning and the CRAP spouted against Judge Shedd was unbelievable! The democraps were accusing him of being a bigot and civil rights nightmare. I am absolutely shocked to read this post. Yahoo! For victory & freedom!!!

We are making progress already and they haven't even seated the new Congress.
I think that the Dems are really running scared. They have decided that they had better start approving some of these judges before we get even more conservative ones nominated with the next session. they know that they will be approved in the Congress.

So ,what did these guys say to make them extremists? Probably something like, "Maybe the States should have some say in what goes on internlly" or "I think that maybe there are too many abortions going on". You know. Real EXTREME stuff.
Maybe they actually believe that the US is a republic! Horrors.

Patrick Leahy, the man whose word is worthless -- ask Strom Thurmond.

I am shocked. I can understand the gesture toward Strom Thurman, but I am surprised that anybody else was approved. They must be trying to get in our good graces.
Good luck, suckers.

Don't give these Dems any ammunition as to the number that they voted on.I agree. Just as they trumpet their's and Clinton's support for welfare reform, after he had vetoed it twice until the polls told him to approve it, they will claim wide support and cooperation with Bush on appointments. They will then demand fair treatment of their own nominations. Grind 'em in the dirt!!

Voice Vote, huhm?? Interesting. If I had suspected that I might have stayed with the hearing.
It will be SO good to see leaky leahy gone from the Chairman's seat in that committee!
And I hope that Sen Hatch finds his g***** by next year.
Don't get mad, Orin, get even! in a nice way...
