SUV haters aren't just left wing wackos. There are plenty here who call themselves "conservatives" who hate SUVs and would love for the government to "ban" them.
There are people on both the left and right who love to wield the "government" stick "to work their way into every facet of society". Freedom and liberty be dammed.
I'm one of those here that hate SUVs. But only because I don't have one yet. I'm still stuck in the mini-van era.

Well, I'm a conservative who hates SUVs, but I'd never want the government to ban them. It's my personal choice to hate 'me, and feel that others have the right to love 'em.
