The above describes those who try to disrupt Free Republic.
LOL! I'm am TORN!
I can't decide if that graphic is for:
a) Democrats after receiveing results of last Tuesday's election
OR
b) our flaccid allies in the war on terrorism in Europe...which of course is now
becoming Eurabia (a term from a writer whose name I can't recall).
I really like "Eurabia" as it covers my ackward terminology of "The Islamic Republics
of France, Belgium, Germany and Austria".

I'm not sure either. A Google search for "Yankee Jim Robbinson" turns up a bunch of pages with variations on the story. Of course, most of them focus on supposed haunting of the area. So take that for what it's worth.
But it is interesting, the San Diego Historical Society has a page with a reference to the hanging in the caption of a photo of Philip Crosthwaite, who was a Deputy Sherif there in 1852 (if you can believe the San Diego Historical Society...)

Ha Seriously ill it seems.!
I've met Yankee Jim, yes. I happen to visit his grave when ever I can. While I know you can't bring a case to court based on a Ghost... I need to prove what happened to him. It's a simple as that. Then mabey Yankee Jim can rest.
The only reason He's haunting is because he got the rough end of a very bad deal. And mabey if I can get him a new trial the case will be thrown out or he'll be found innocent this time and he wont have to haunt any more.
I'm doing this because I know him and I want to help. Even if there is no such this as ghosts I would be doing this because it's the right thing to do.
