Thanks for the well wishes on my anniversary!

It was a good day when I found FR. Unlike so many others, I didn't find FR through Drudge. In fact, I found Drudge through FR!

I was watching H&C -- way back when they used to have callers -- and a caller mentioned FreeRepublic.com. I was brand new on the internet (on WebTV my first few months), so I went to see what this FR.com was all about. (This actually took place in about August or September of '98, but I changed to ru4liberty on November 13, so that's my official anniversary date.) I got hooked and the rest is history.

I love FR. I'm here to stay. Jim will have to run me off. (as IF!!)

Thanks again for celebrating my anniversary with me. If y'all hadn't noticed it was my anniversary, neither would I! This is the first year I've taken note of it.
