"Bush didn't win this election because of Message: I care but because of Message: I lead.
Status quo leaders, who cagily game the political odds even on war and peace, find themselves deserted. In the post-9/11 world, equivocation and dissimulation don't work. Political courage does."
Dems are not leaders. They are power junkies.
They are too self-absorbed to be able to make decisions that are in the best interest of the nation.
Bush has proven himself to be a leader and it's time for the Republican House and Senate to prove the same. We know the Dems can't do it, because they really 'can't change their spots'. If there ever was a time to show political courage in our own ranks, it's now.

Bush and the Republicans won more than the democrats a week ago for one reason: they pay more attention to the dangers that confront this country! Daschle and Gephart forgot September 11th, 2001. They thought enough time had gone by so that they could return to "politics as usual." Well, they paid the price.
Messages sent and received probably played some role in the election but one message serious people know without being told is that we have real enemies in this world and we better vanquish them before getting back to debating the security of the Social Security "Lockbox" and other apparitions.
Analyze away, but the fact that we are at war drove the election.
