No it wouldn't. But can you force true belief out of a person who for whatever reason is only willing to see a small portion of the picture?
The greater portion of the picture includes a loving relationship with a creator who can (*IF* he wanted to) just speak you out of existence. Can you force that kind of relationship and have it based upon love? Can you force any kind of loving relationship?

The analogy by the way (don't you watch Star Trek at all???) is comparing human beings to the Borg (who all think the same - who forcibly assimilate any race they come across who are not Borg). The Borg are a collective of automatons. While they are efficient in what they do, they are not human, they have no feelings nor love for one another.
That is why we do not all believe the same. Because the Origin Of Truth has given us the choice *not* to.
