Take a good long look at, Haiti

I initially thought the same thing about Liberia. But, that analogy isn't appropriate because the current situation in those countries has nothing to do with the absence of white people, but more to do with the long term cultural situations, which, I'm sure, many blame on historic white colonization.

How many centuries will they be allowed to blame colonialism?....Haiti is in it's 3rd century of freedom from the evil white man so far.....and it's the pits.

Hey Darth EVERYONE has been a colony at one point or the other!

When does that excuse run dry? Let's see about some other post colonial societies that are hellholes? America? Canada? Australia? Singapore? Hong Kong? New Zealand? The only country in Africa with a 1st World economy (at least until recently) was South Africa and it was the most recently de-colonized - if you consider Apartheid a continuation of colonization.

Colonization is not an excuse, period.
